How to mix it
Step 1
Stir down all the ingredients over lots of ice in a chilled cocktail mixing glass
Step 2
Strain into an ice cold coupette
Step 3
Garnish with lemon, orange or grapefruit; or use a with a firm, green olive for a more savoury affair
Step 4
Try making this classic your way: adjust the ratio of the ingredients; switch dry vermouth for sweet vermouth; swap out the London Dry for Brunel, or an alternative such as Sloe Gin. Take the time to experiment and find your favourite!
