Book a Group Distillery Tour
Perfect for work away days, birthdays and social club outings; the 6 O’clock Gin Distillery Tour is a fun, informative experience for you and your guests. With the help of an expert guide you will meet Kathleen, our unique “double sphere” still and experience all the steps of the gin making process from botanical selection to bottling. Plus; find out how we craft our artisan whole-fruit liqueurs – the whole process is covered from field to bottle. Discover the secrets to our robust sloe gin and how we get damson gin so crystal clear. Your tour will include a tasting of our Gins and cocktail ingredients and starts with a glassful of “Ginspiration.”
When: Our 6 O’clock Gin Distillery Tours takes place at 12pm, 2:30pm and 5:00pm on Saturdays and selected Sundays. They last for around 1 ½ hours, so for those who aren’t driving, we’d recommend booking your taxis for 1:45pm, 4:15pm or 6:45pm depending on your booking. We can also consider alternative times (outside office hours) for private groups, dependent upon availability and production schedules.
Where: Tours take place at the 6 O’clock Gin Distillery in Thornbury. You can find us on Google Maps, and our full address is: Bramley and Gage, Unit C6, Ashville Park, Short Way, Thornbury, BS35 3UU (please note that some Sat Nav systems have been known to take people to the leisure centre by mistake!).
How Much: The cost to secure a private booking is £400, to cover up to 16 people; guests over this number are charged in addition. The cost includes a distillery tour, tutored tasting and a glass of 6 O’clock Gin and tonic. In order to secure your date we require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking with the remaining balance to be paid 1 month before your tour date.
How Many: There is no minimum group size and we can take up to 20 people.
Accessibility: While we try to accommodate all guests, we unfortunately don’t possess a lift to take guests to the first floor of the building where our bar is situated. Please also note that the tour does involve quite a lot of standing. You can contact us on 01454 418046 if you require further details.
Age Limit: The minimum age for admission to the premises is 18 years (we don’t have a maximum).
