Lockdown blues? Stuck for things to do? Join us for a Virtual Distillery Tour & Gin Tasting!
At 6 O’clock Gin HQ, we were hoping that 2021 would treat us a little better than last year, but it seems to have had other plans… Now in our third national lockdown, life is feeling a little bit like Groundhog Day and if you’re anything like our team, you will be frantically searching for some new and exciting activities to pass the time. Well, ladies and gentlemen, look no further!
Since the first lockdown in March 2020 put the brakes on our weekly Distillery Tours, our fantastic events team have been working hard to put together the perfect package to move these events online. After a busy festive season and lots of trial runs, we’re thrilled to announce our new series of Virtual Tour & Tastings, going live from Saturday 16th January 2021.
What happens on a Virtual Tour & Tasting?
Join our Brand Ambassador as they walk you through the distillery from the comfort of your own home. Via Zoom, they will explain our history, eco-friendly ethos, the art behind our gin-making process and share every aspect of our craft and revealing why our award-winning gin is so strikingly smooth.
You’ll then be guided through a live gin tasting, with a specially-tailored tasting kit which will be sent out to you before your session. Our Brand Ambassador will help you to identify flavour profiles and different notes to look out for, show you the perfect ways to serve our gin and tell you everything you need to know about our artisan range.
We will be running our 90-minute Virtual Tour & Tasting events every Wednesday and Saturday at 6pm. Automatic bookings for each session close 7 days before the event, so that our team can send out your tasting kit, to be popped in the fridge ready for the big night in.
What is included in the Virtual Tour & Tasting package?
The Virtual Tour & Tasting package costs £25 per person and includes a tour of our distillery, a live Zoom session with one of our expert Brand Ambassadors, so you can ask any and all gin-related questions you would like, and one tasting kit, shipped to you in advance of your session.
The tasting kit includes a 5cl bottle of three different gins from our range and a premium mixer to pair with each of them. All you need to do is prepare is your glassware, make sure you have plenty of ice ready to go and have your preferred citrus garnishes to hand.
So, whether you’re looking to organise a virtual celebration, a special birthday surprise, or a simple get-together with friends or colleagues over a much-needed drink, our Virtual Tour & Tasting is the ideal way to find time together, raise a glass and connect safely during these challenging times.
