Wonderful opportunity for an entrepreneurial and target driven Manager who also loves GIN!
This is a hands-on role for an individual who has a track record in developing experiences that excite consumers and generate substantial revenues. The Visitor Experience & Retail Sales Manager will have autonomy and full control of the business’ Visitor Experience & Retail Sales including at shows, events, tastings, our shop and tours.
Why We’re Interested in YOU
You have proven experience driving sales at Retail Events and/or Visitor Attractions, consistently meeting or exceeding targets and delighting customers.
You're great at hiring, motivating, developing and training your team; partly because of your great communication skills and empathetic nature and partly because you make sure they have fun, too.
Autonomous working within a small structure suits your style and you manage your own time and your staff rotas with ease.
Your strong numerical skills enable you to compile, interpret, understand and present data in a way that drives profitability.
You're excited to get out and explore this wonderful country of ours, attending events all over the UK and you have a valid UK Driving Licence.
You can communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation and this gains you the respect of a wide network of peers and colleagues.
Formal sales training would be an advantage but not essential, as is a knowledge of legislative, operational, logistical, administrative issues regarding retail sale of alcohol.
You're able to flex your working hours to include occasional weekends and evenings
