Blending British craft with global cocktail culture, B&G has created a unique range of artisan spirits –
from time-honoured classics to modern mixologist-inspired favourites.

Originating in the 17th Century, the first examples of coffee liqueurs were created by monks and distillers experimenting with herbs, spices and other flavourings to infuse their alcoholic spirits.

Our Coffee Liqueur is made using the cold-brew method to extract maximum flavour from the coffee, and produce a smoother, less acidic coffee base. We then add vanilla, sugar and alcohol, carefully balancing the ingredients to complement the coffee and celebrate it as the star of the show!

We took great care choosing the coffee for our liqueur, taking advice from speciality coffee roasters Wogan – another independent artisan business based in the local area. Following several trials, we eventually chose their Colombia Continental Dark Roast. No 18. The resulting coffee liqueur is punchy and layered, from slightly citrus high notes to deep, chocolatey low notes with a smooth, silky mouthfeel.

Drink it neat or over ice in place of an after-dinner coffee, or layer tonic over the liqueur for an alcoholic version of a refreshing Café Tonic.
